BURNIE RUGBY UNION CLUB 2019 COACHES
Burnie Rugby Union Football Club is seeking applications for Senior Coaching positions for our men’s and women’s team for the 2019 season. The club fields a senior men’s team in the statewide Tasmanian Rugby Union competition and a women’s team called the North West Panthers who play in a northern-based 7s competition. Burnie is one of only 20 clubs around Australia included in an ARU pilot program for 2019 with the aim of providing a national program for clubs to pick up which will assist with:
- Club diversity and female participation
- Growing registered participants
- Building and enhancing existing players skills
- Introducing a 7s program
- Converting participants from other sports to rugby
The Club is looking to recruit coaches who can assist in the continued development of the senior playing team, supporting other coaches and management to help our club grow.
